I've started dippiing into CBB again recently, mostly just any PFT episode I see

the recent ep with Andy Daly practically murdered me It was already a great ep, and then Andy leaping with both feet into doing an Australian accent only to learn in the moment that that's like the one voice he can't do just fuckin' obliterated me. full on had to stop the podcast because i was laughing too hard to hear it

Hearing everyone realize at the exact same moment he does that he absolutely cannot do it and then bully him into doing it was incredible.

and then hitting basically the exact same thing with Andy having a really hard time reversing names and Paul doing it no problem

"A new take on the epic fantasy genre... Darkly comic, relatable characters... twisted storyline."
"Readers who prefer tension and romance, Maledictions: The Offering, delivers... As serious YA fiction, I’ll give it five stars out of five. As a novel? Four and a half." - Liz Ellor

This sucks. Can't wait for GameFAQS to be completely unusable and their massive archives all deleted if they don't drive enough traffic a month.

Oh, what? I thought Fandom was just something people used for making fan wikis. I didn't realize that apparently it was some corporate giant.

Nothing borderline about it. Utterly unusable on mobile, takes forever for anything to load, if it even does, and you go through the process again every couple of inches scrolled.

Listening to more Apocrypals. I know we have a lot of prudes now, but so far in the episode about the apocryphal Acts of John there's one dude who cuts off his own dick with a sickle as a way to avoid temptation and a woman who is so bothered that someone thinks she's attractive that she literally dies. In previous episodes I've listened to there's also special Heaven for virgins and a story that includes Paul convincing all the women in a city to take vows of chastity.

A dude did that in the village I lived in back in 2015. In the middle of the high street, no less.

Oh wow, so Acts of John's depiction of Jesus is full on "high strangeness Jesus". He never blinks, looks different to everyone who sees him, levitates, and can divide his consciousness between multiple bodies (so that he can watch himself get crucified).

I wanna see Christian X-Files now, where instead of aliens Jesus is behind everything. "I WANT TO BELIEVE."

According to his own account, he was also having some marital difficulties. I think there were motivation layers.

Listening to the episode of Apocrypals about the Acts of Andrew and Matthias, which features a city of cannibals, potions that make people act like cattle, Jesus as a shape-shifting boat captain with a crew of disguised angels, and a guy using prayer to kill seven guards simultaneously before magically unlocking a door by drawing the sign of the Cross on it and then summoning a cloud for 300+ prisoners to ride to safety.

I don't know if it's Alex or Vinny producing the Nextlander Watchcast but they're having a lot of fun with intro gags. The Predator 1 ep has The Handshake Slap playing to the beat and the first Star Trek ep with time travel has the theme played in reverse.

One of them, The Acts of Paul and Thecla, has a woman sentenced by the Romans to be eaten alive by beasts taking out all the creatures with lightning and an aura of holy fire. It kinda rules.

So the Apocrypha is where all the Paladin and Cleric spells are hiding, no wonder they wanted it removed
