Character for an animation project

I am working on an animation project with some friends of mine and it features some characters based off of gadgets and consoles. Sort of a Brave Little Toaster meets Calvin and Hobbes (but probably not as funny.)

This is the Xbox 360 character and he is almost finished. I would appriciate some suggestions and feed back that can help me with this and some other characters. Thanks.

I don't know why but I think of Psatly, the kid's Bible mascot.

The 360 logo is also missing off the sides. Legal reasons?

Well, I think the button depression at the bottom could use some sharper edges, and I'm guessing you haven't done the textures yet. I don't know a lot about 3d stuff, the expressions look pretty good. I suggest making the back of the mouth black, or darker, to suggest a throat. I'm guessing all the rounded edges (I mean like corners and stuff) are because it's a 360, but if that's how you're doing your models/characters then you should always have sharp angles when appropriate.

It reminds me of one of the enemy books in the SNES adaptation of the film "Pagemaster."

    I love contributing!

His light should turn red and die after 5 months. That would be funny.

I think if the OP actually posted more than his shit and responded to critiques would help

Sorry it took a while to get back to this, dead line for the animation project is next week and have not had a lot of spare time.

I did make him more white then of white like someone suggested. To the person asking about the logos and what not, they are not there because of time constraints on modeling the characters and they did not look right with them just put on with a texture.

Here is a test animation of one of the scenes if anyone would like to take a look.

No. No, I don't think that would be possible. Given that the consoles are talking about their owners like they're boyfriends, that wouldn't be enough to get rid of the homosexual undertone to the whole thing.

Great animation, great dialogue. I thought it was very funny.

Unfortunately its a little late to change the dialog. There is a few things I would change about it if I could but I had not thought of that.

Its my first attempt at animating something so hearing something positive is encouraging, thanks Yak.
