Heres teh short version. I am a hypocritical, racist, jackass. the actual post can be found in the spoiler.
A little back story first. I work at a grocery store, so I deal with a lot of stupid people on a daily basis. I have come to terms that the average IQ is 80 and that the total sum of the average person's common sense can be kept inside thimble.
However, what I cannot stand is ignorance. People who think they are in the right with no rhyme or reason and need to be taken down a peg for the good of society. I will now share with you two tales of ignorance, please read, enjoy, and share your own.

Monday June 4, 7PM
After work I come home, shower change, and some friends say lets go hang out here, etc etc. So I get in my car and pull away. I live in a sub-division and there are lots of children, I was in one of the first 1/3 of the houses built here so I have learned as families move in to watch for children. I have even had a few close calls, such as the time a parent left the drive side sliding door on a minivan open, and as I was pulling past a small child jumps out and I nearly hit him, thankfully I was going slow and stopped but it still scared the shit out of me. Anyway, as I said, I learned to live with these children and watch.
Now I pull away, going 40KM/H (speed limit is 50 KM/H) turn the corner, turn the next corner and continue on. Now there is an old couple on bicycles comming up the road. I am on my side and they have tons of room, suddenly the man starts to slow and is pointing to what would be my passenger side or his left. I thought he was indicating he wanted go into his driveway so I slowed and motioned for him to go ahead. But he just kept pointing frantically at the road. I relaized he wanted me to pull up, so I did and lowered my window fully. At which point I received this tidbit of information.
"How about you slow down, there are children playing around here"
Usually I would just ignore this, but I was not in the best mood (having missed the courier with my new 19" LCD widescreen because they came at 10:45AM when I, like most people, were at work) and I was just infuriated by the gall of this person.
So instead I looked foreword for a second, then shifted my car into park, pulled up the hand break, undid my seatbelt and got out of the car. I stood my full 6 foot height and looked down at this man and uttered this little rant, cutting him off several times.
"I am well aware there are children playing around here, I have lived in this neighborhood for 6 years now, in fact that’s why I usually drive 40, like I was, and am always scanning left and right in case some child should run onto the road. Now granted, the children have NO business being on the road, because the road, which I have every right to be on, is for driving, not playing. In fact, if their parents actually knew HOW to parent they would watch their kids and tell them NOT to play on the road as it is dangerous. However, I must be off, I have matters to attend to beyond telling total strangers who I obviously know better then what to do" at which point I got back in my car and drove away. He was furious and speechless. His wife had a look of utter shock.

This story people may find offensive...too bad, its not.
The one person who I was forced to associate with for my one class believes he is Jesus (or a close second). He claims to loves everyone and is colorblind, blah blah blah. One day while he, I, and a few other friend were talking, the subject of women came up, someone mentioned a negro woman (I honestly forget who) and I said "Meh, I do not find black women sexually attractive" which as far as I know is perfectly normal. Sexual attraction is unique to each person. Of course as soon as I said this, the asshat goes off on a rant about how I am racist, and I think they are below me. The first thing I am looking at is the color of their skin and making my judgment based solely on that. Really it was rather annoying.
This had bothered me because every argument I had tried to make to state it was simply a matter of taste failed so I thought and then finally devised a plan to shut him up after a week.
I walked up to him sat down and said "Do you find me sexually attractive?" His immediate response was "NO! I am not a fucking fag" [direct quote] I looked over at my one male friend "what about him?" to which I was again replied with "I am not gay!" I indicated another male and was again explicitly denied any homosexuality. He was quite defensive and at this point I sprung my trap.
"Well then, you are a sexist" I stated. Dumbfounded, he looked puzzled for a moment then came back with "No I am not". And I told him "you are basing any sexual appeal on the first thing you see, their sex, you do not look beyond that and ergo, sexism. I mean, it’s the same logic you used with me when you called me a racist". His face went red then after a minute he looked at his watch and claimed "I have to get to class retard" and I never spoke to him again.
Well that’s it for me; it felt good writing that out actually, so comment and share.
