Got an app with an account that couldn't be backed up.
Do a device transfer/backup and only the app would transfer, no data. No cloud save feature in the app.
Weeelllll, the app accidentally got uninstalled when google play felt it needed more room and I didn't see that app on the list of apps it wanted to uninstall.
I have a copy of the android - data information folder that is named com.companyname.android_googleplay.appnameww so I have an actual copy of the app data.
Is there a way to get android to see that data when I reinstall the app?

Very likely, you can reinstall the app wich should install the same folder, then drop the data back in there and reboot the phone. It depends on the app, worth a try.
Thanks for the reply but it didn't work.
Not sure if that was the location that the account info was stored or not but that's all I got...
