I'd seriously encourage you to seek alternatives if possible, it's what
I would characterize as "extremely filthy." How many people are you
thinking will be there? The only possibility I can see is spending the
weekend and getting just the main floor cleaned up. The basement or
upstairs would be completely out of scope, but the main floor 5 rooms
could be doable in a weekend with a few people.

Dustin, we may just have to do it at your place at this point. I REALLY don't want to, but I'm not sure what other options we have.
Does ANYONE else have a place that they can offer up?
Also, Natasha and I realized that we can't really have people over to our place for a party. What with the huge piles of shit everywhere and no furniture to sit on.

We're a sub-contractor on this project, doing some cost-benefit analysis stuff for a company that is making a bid for an American Red Cross contract. We need current values in order to show how much the overall savings would be.
So, Cal, where are you making your cut up north when you head out? Did you plan on hitting I-90 in Ohio? I'd buy your poor ass some lunch if ya like.
To be honest, I have no idea what my path of travel is yet.
But if it looks like we're going to head through that area I may have to take you up on that offer. That would be pretty rad, actually.

Well I charted Baltimore to Seattle on Google and the quickest way does run you right by me. I-80 merges with I-90 right at Lorain where my office is located and I would really like to meet you. Keep me posted on your plans and let me know if you entertain stopping there overnight and have any questions about the area. I know that half of the state pretty well.
The thing is that Natasha wants to stop by her aunts house on the way, which will totally change our travel route (I agree that I80 to I90 is the best bet)... so, really, I have no idea until I manage to talk her out of going the long way.

Well I work in a lot of different areas of that region so I have some flexibility as to where we could hook up. Just keep me posted and give me a little notice and I am sure we can coordinate something.
We need a Bonerfiesta for Callius' arrival too!
Its only fair

Anyway, sorry for my prolonged absence. My PC died(five year old Gateway), so I've been dealing with trying to figure out how to build a new one.
Anyway, I've come up with a plan.
The evening of the 23rd we will head out to Downtown Silver Spring, to a Pirate themed Bar/Restaraunt that I discovered, called the Piratz Tavern. There, we shall eat, drink, and be merry.
Afterwards, depending on the mood of the crowd, we will retire to my home, which is close by, and hang out/play video games in my basement.
Unfortunately there will be no drinking at my house, and it is unlikely that anyone will be able to crash there (if you NEED to, let me know, and I will look into it), but because of the lack of drinking, crashing isn't such a big deal.
I never brought up my place before, because of the whole no drinking thing, but if we have nothing else, then at least it's SOMETHING.
Back-up plan, if no one likes this, is we go to the Papermoon, in Baltimore.
So, tell me what you all think. If we're going to Piratz Tavern, I'd theoretically like to call ahead (I've never been there, and don't know what it's like, so I figure warning them that we are bringing a large group is a good idea.)
Also, I think we should all dress like pirates, or at least pirate themed.

I'm going to look into another option, or two, but the plan stands until I say otherwise.
Even though his basement is a cesspool.
he said something to me about his house being in a state of "not cleaning it until october"
I'll talk to him about it again, though.
Hopefully he is cool with that arrangement.

Unless it's you.
It might cost more, but it is an investment.
and did you draw some stick figures getting red put into them and drinking juice and eating cookies and the sun is smiling.
and there's a dead kid in the background in a trashcan that the lecherous blood suckers drained for his life essence.
naw, I just made up numbers based on what little information they gave me.
It's not what they SHOULD pay their employees, it's what they DO pay their employees.
Which makes my numbers EXTRA arbitrary.

There, fixed that for you.
Wait so what? no party?

The party WILL happen
even if we have to meet on a vacant lot
we WILL have a location
