I love cats. And I love video games. And I bet I'm not alone in either of these here, either. And yet, I didn't see any dedicated threads for any of the various cat video games that are either out or announced. While I'm not sure about individual threads for each title, I thought maybe a good catch-all thread might be in order here.

Plus, hey, maybe we can share cat photos?

Warning: I haven't gotten to play this one, but I hear it can be a bit much if you don't like seeing cats get hurt.

However, it sounds like it may not be a PlayStation 5 exclusive for very long, as there are reports of it not only coming to Xbox, but Game Pass as well!

So, those are the recent ones I'm aware of. I miss any?

Hooooly shit, Little Kitty Big City looks adorable. It also looks like inspired on some level by Untitled Goose Game. I wonder how much that inspiration will carry through into the structure of the game.

There's also that one game coming out fairly soon that does have a playable cat, but I'm afraid to say the name because of heavy spoilers.

The demo for Little Kitty, Big City that was up in Steam's Next Fest was great, but did center gameplay-wise around a couple of fetch quests. I'm hoping that's not too prevalent in the main game but it was the one thing I'm wary of - otherwise it was adorable, well-written with some great text dialogue, and looked great. There's definitely more than a hint of Untitled Goose Game in its look, and a little bit of mischief at one point although the kitty isn't at all malicious like the goose is.

Definitely looking forward to the full game.
