Burger King in Thailand has debuted a new item called the “real cheeseburger.”

It doesn’t have any meat, just 20 slices of American cheese.

    Mac and cheese.

but ngl, that looks kinda gross. About twice as thick as it should be. Also, I'd put some kind of sauce condiment in with it if I were just doing bun+american cheese.

These are coward's words. Abandon all inhibitions. Relinquish control. Enter the cheese.

I'm going to make Snickerdoodles today but I don't feel like making them the way that Adam Ragusea video showed but this other recipe makes like 48 cookies so I'm going to baking for a while

i have drawn the line on eating all the food in this thread i will not eat a sandwich with 20 slices of cheese that is outrageous

I would eat the snickerdoodles posted they look like they would taste good in my opinion

i have always wanted to make a cookie recipe and then make just one gigantic cookie instead of 20 smaller ones but I have always been scared to try it my mom says it will ruin the cookie I am not sure if they still have cookie cakes but those seem to have been made using a different technique

my mom asked what cake i want for my birthday I am going to request this it is called and sandwich but it is obviously a desert like how an ice cream sandwich in not a regular sandwich and I believe it looks cake like https://www.justonecookbook.com/japanese-fruit-sandwich-fruit-sando/

A blondie with chocolate chips is basically a chocolate chip cookie cake imho

That's basically how you do cookie cakes, yeah. No shame in going the One Giant Cookie route.

Checking online, it looks like any recipe can be baked in one mass if rolled/pressed out into the appropriate thickness (3/4 inch to 1 inch) baked for about 2.5 as long as listed in the recipe. And baked at 350f, with additional baking time (2 to 5 minutes per 25f difference from the recipe as listed) if the recipe as listed is baked at a higher temp. example: a recipe that says "bake at 375f for 10-12 minutes" would turn into "bake at 350f for 30-35 minutes."

The only consideration is not overcooking/burning the edges before the very center is set and cooked through. And that some cookies would not be as good of an eating experience without the greater edge to center ratio that comes with scooping and rolling the dough into balls.

Seems like it'd be pretty easy thing to test and play with.

My dad said there's a bad weather advisory and it's gonna be wind and rain and storms and shit for the next 3 days.

I have bought minced lamb, chicken wings, smoked fish, 2 packs of pittas, chili sauce, 3 bottles of wine, a bottle of rum and a liter of tropical fruit juice.

    Let it rain.

Lunch today was a kitfo wrap on injera from one of the Ethiopian places up the street from work. It was delicious and enormous, a smarter person would have recognized that it should be two meals.

    I regret nothing.

Except eating the whole thing, I do regret that a little bit now.

I really wish I could try that (injera). The nearest Ethiopian restaurant looks to be 265 miles away.
I had chili relleno for lunch today at the only non-fast food restaurant in town. Fred Armisen interrupted the radio to sell me Walmart+
