I'm content to miss stuff the first time cos I already know I'm playing this multiple times. I already know I've missed a bunch of stuff but I'm cool with it.
That's why I booted Astarion from my party after I failed every check and he killed me. It just flowed from what happened that my ranger would boot him, so I did. I'll check him out on a different character. No regrets.
On, like, my third playthrough I'll go meta and try to max content.
For now I'm just playing my ranger, making decisions from his point of view, and seeing where that takes me. Minimal meta stuff, other than build theory crafting. But I don't look up items, just how the classes themselves work.
Morninglord on
(PSN: Morninglord) (Steam: Morninglord) (WiiU: Morninglord22) I like to record and toss up a lot of random gaming videos here.
I have been rocking a hat that I found super early on at the grove for 40 hours now. it gives temp HP to the target of my bardic inspiration. it also looks like absolute dogshit so I have it turned off. I would like another hat please

I would like cosmetic slots plzkthx. The camp clothes is a good start, but I want slots for my hat and gloves and stuff too, and for each slot to be toggleable.

If I had one thing to request the devs change in the game, it would be camp supplies not just automatically going to the camp box. There is zero reason to carry any on your person, at all. Zip zilch nada.

And remove the warning that you don't have enough camp supplies if they are in the camp chest and not on you!
Finished disabling the foundry, and holy fuck I wasn't sure I was going to survive that final fight. Almost no spell slots for my druid, fighter had no superiority dice, paladin had no spell slots for smites, and the warlock/rogue had no spells either. Low on health, low on potions, but we somehow made it work and beat down all the watchers and the titan. Now I'm debating on if I should go ahead and murder Gortash and then go find Florrick/Ansur, or do Florrick/Ansur first. Finishing off Orin will be last

And at least one quest related camp supplies item.
Plus just from a general game point of view, picking stuff up and it "vanishing" feels weird.
So does hauling around 12 sets of heavy armour and 20 potions in six invisible bags though

Right so I'm fighting Gortash,
I've misty stepped Gale and my rogue archer into position, charged him with Karlach while Shadowheart hangs out ready with the heals and debuffs
And halfway through the first round one of the wall mounted grenade launchers drops a gift at Karlach's feet while she's engaged with one of those gold faced fucks
Gortash managed to botch his initiative roll so he goes last, and this brilliant tactician 5D chess master decides the most effective move he could play is to run over into kissing range with his incredibly angry, Mad Max supercharged devil ex-girlfriend and then toss a grenade at her.
Yeah. Run and then toss.
He literally drops a grenade at his own feet, which sets off the grenade that's already there, vaporizes his best lieutenant and knocks him down to three hit points, flat on his ass on the floor at Karlach's feet, who, because she's so angry and also resistant to fire, is still very much alive and fighting fit thank you very much
She does the John Travolta looking around while shrugging gif before swinging with advantage to overkill him by 40 or so damage.
The fucking pathetic incel weakness of his death made her "Is this it?" speech much much more appropriate.
When you mouse over acrobatics it says it helps keep you from getting shoved. Athletics does as well, I believe. I dunno if they combine or if the game uses whichever is higher
StraightziHere we may reign secure, and in my choice,To reign is worth ambition though in HellRegistered Userregular
That one would surprise me more, as I've overall felt that my Tav and Astarion have been very shoveable, despite both being acrobatics proficient. Hard to say though, as it's largely obscured. Even if those are all true, it feels weird that it's never like, actively used or foregrounded, I feel like every other skill gets its moment in the sun.

Well that's the thing, if you're a dex rogue or monk, your athletics is shitty. So my monk is making these tiny little hops while the paladin is basically flying.
I personally think they should have been evened out a bit.

Also, as a female half Orc, I found out I get to be the 'top', taking Astarion's position in the cutscene.

“Well. This is awkward.”

First time that I reloaded an earlier save due to an idiot decision
as we all know, bags of flour would be game-breakingly OP
i think you keep one and most ingredients get shunted into it
the other ones you can toss (just maybe empty them out), or you can try to self-organize your inventory into them
the amount of items in your inventory gets wild pretty quickly, particularly if you're swapping characters who are holding things into and out of camp
for now I just installed a mod that allows me to have 9000x more carrying capacity, and then putting all of my items on my main character
then I just search for whatever item I might need using the inventory filters and hope for the best
And remove the warning that you don't have enough camp supplies if they are in the camp chest and not on you!
Ya one camp took me like 10 minutes to find where they had hidden Karlach

Anyway, off to kill god, now!
Need some stuff designed or printed? I can help with that.
I believe it is the DC used for getting up after being knocked prone. If you succeed, you don't lose an action? I think?
oh my god Sean. amazing.
well someone isn't shoving
It does help avoid going prone, whether from shoves, surfaces or suicidal plunges.
But us dextrous folks should be able to jump around all crazy too. Not just the fighter wearing 200 lbs of metal.

that's just your strength stat though, you can boost athletics but it won't increase your jump distance
