I'm trying to find a bit of information regarding the PAX DVDs that are usually released but I haven't found much of anything. Did they do one last year or just 2005? What exactly are on the DVDs and how long after the event did they come out? What were their costs? Can they still be bought from somewhere? This info would help me greatly.

There are DVDs for '04 and '05 (the '05 DVDs are available here). '06 won't have a DVD release because a lot of the footage got screwed up or something along those lines (there's a thread around here where Khoo explains). Couldn't tell you how long it takes for the DVDs to get released.
No pax 06 DVD's Which is really really sad cause I didn't see any of PAX cause I was working it the whole time. All I have are other peoples pictures to experience 06 by.
Hopefully you’re not going to be working the whole time this year.

The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?

This shouldn't happen. I think we may haul you bodily from the BYOC room this year and make you take a shift (say, 6 hours or so) off to enjoy the expo.
Also, to simulate PAX 06, get into an elevator with 60 people, and stand there for three days. Nobody showers, and nobody is allowed to use deoderant. There's a pretty good simulation.

Get the PAX 2008 Countdown widget and while away your sad, pathetic life watching it tick down the hours to PAX '08! http://homepage.mac.com/ctishman

area/room manager = working the whole time
at least this year the PC room will be near the concerts so ill be able to hear the music.
If they set the Vent server (I assume there will be a Vent server this year, although I don't seem them as a sponsor) up like last year you can at least blast that out some comp speakers to catch the music.

How about taking a page from MythBusters and make a ballistic jelly mold of BigRed. Then we can set up this facsimile in his normal seat making sure the hot blast form the computer is aim correctly to cause melting. This way no one would get close as fear of getting what ever flesh eating virus BigRed has contracted. Can even take it a step further and put up some biohazard signs. Then those in the know can walk in and out of the BYOC wearing bio suits. I mean after all why do anything, if you can’t over do it all?

The only approiate thing that can be done with a ballistic jelly mold of anyone would be either A)Blow it up or drop it from the top of the convention hall with parashute made of concrete.

I prefer option A.
or option B, and then option A to the remains.

58 of them will be male, and the two female riders will be sick and tired of flirting dudes within an hour.
