Khoo: PAX hotel page update.

Hmm we just checked today and they're telling us there's still space available. Perhaps there's something odd going on with the dates - for instance, if you're trying to book for the 20th to the 29th, they may tell you there are no rooms available, since our block doesn't start until the 22nd. I'll let you know what we find out.
Either way, there's another hotel block being opened up tomorrow on the PAX site. Thanks guys.

How many rooms have been made available for PAX so far?

The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?

More importantly, how many rooms have been booked so far?
My group and I tried to book about a week or two ago, and realized that all the hotels were booked up. And since we're stingy, we didn't want to go for the Red Lion on Fifth. So, if anyone's interested, there's a Red Lion hotel about a 15 minute drive away (http://redlion.rdln.com/HotelLocator/HotelOverview.aspx?metaID=45) that's only about 109$ a night for a double if you book now, and it has free wifi, which is hot. I think there's also public transportation that goes right to PAX, otherwise we'll probably carpool. Just thought you might be interested.

I just booked it. Thanks for the find. I wasn't planning on renting a car this year so hopefully there's public transportation.
