Hello from the City of Angels!
I have relocated to LA for three weeks of work before starting full time in july. I must say that this is an interresting city.
Everymorning, the polution rolls in off the ocean and stays untill sunset when we get to see some of the sun.
There are warning labels on EVERYTHING. Including the apartment were staying at.
Speaking of that, our company is putting us up in a glorious appartment, fully furnished, with a fireplace, 400+ channel tv, with tennis courts, B-ball courts, pool, huge hot tub, the works. No one has cars, but we get picked up for work, so that's cool.
We're two blocks from the ocean, and yesterday we got recorded for a G4 show where they give away free stuff.
Anyone have any comments or sugestions for living in LA?
also, I've seen things over the past four days that you guys will shit your pants over next year.

Be advised LA is my home town.
At night the pollution is sucked mostly out to sea
because the warm air from the ocean moves inland
in an effor to balance air pressure and temperature
(this is the elemental phenomenon known in English as "wind"
not to be confused with human flatulence, which may also be referred to as "wind" on occassion)
In the morning, the phenomenon reverses
as the air over the ocean is cooler than the air over the city
the resulting change in pressure pushes all the nasty shit air (although somewhat disappated)
back on top of the city.
