Alarm Clocks

edited June 2007 in Social Entropy++
My ex-roommate's birthday is coming up and he has this old POS alarm clock, so I'm getting him a new one. I want it to be ridiculous but practical (i.e.: something he would actually use). It's hard to wake the bastard up, so I either need something loud or something that requires more than a sleep-flopping arm to shut it off. Don't really need a radio in it.

After some searching, I'm tring to decide between these:
Clocky
Sonic Boom (113 db is insane)

Help me decide which one of those I should get, or give me another neat clock option here. Or tell me to go to his house and wake him up every day with my penis. Or talk about Sheri.

I looked at that one, too, but the thing takes too long to take off. And the fact that it's solely battery powered is a minus, too.

    Fuck you

    Also, I vote for Clocky

My new phone have the neatest alarm.

it starts of as just a couple beeps, but builds, in layers into a funky little tune.

    It really is.

That's why I use my cell phone as an alarm most of the time.

Just makes you excited to face the day.
