    I’ve been balding since I was, like, 16. I’ve been shorn up top since I was in my late 20s. I started graying maybe 4-5 years ago.

    I cleaned out my jeep for the first time in like 2 years after it’s been abused with household and work projects pretty much nonstop and become a complete mess. Managed to find $20, a bottle of model paint I was sure I bought but had apparently snuck out of the bag on my way home, and one of my only two pairs of Rx sunglasses (all of which had hidden themselves, of course, under the driver’s seat)

    I would say that they both look equally good, but the beard has that appearance which beards often do that it might be hiding a weaker face underneath it. Which in turn makes the clean shorn one seem better, it has that additional confidence to it.

    Thanks y’all. I think I’ll stay shaved until winter. Or really, until my face feels sore from shaving one time and then I will spontaneously grow a beard over 24 hours, as is my way.

    I wish shaving were less a chore. Someone invent a trimmer that has like, achievements.

    Edit also I'm really noticing all the grey hair setting in more around my chin and temples. Boo to that.
