Server woes are still there, so I would warn against buying it right now.
Otherwise, it really tries to be a bounded game complexity wise.
There are 5 classes with 3 specializations. These are locked choices, can never change.
Each of them gives you about 12 skills to pick from, of which you pick 5. Those 5 skills each have their own skill tree, where you get 20pts to spend. This you can change, but it takes time to recover the 20pts so a respec will make you weaker
And then every level is a passive point. You respec with gold.
It appears late game you can dip into another subclass to pick up 1 skill to cross over.
So that's a lot of total options but once you make decisions you're pretty committed.
This game does not want you to spend a lot of time in town.
Items sell for very little, and maps are not persistent. If you town portal the map gets deleted with anything on the ground.
It does want loot explosions where much is useless, some has potential, but you are limited by your crafting resources.
Learning where the efficiency there is probably a big skill.
For me right now the game is very easy because I dropped an item that makes my Falcon do 50% more damage, totally outscaling all non-bosses. So it's hard to say how the campaign is without a drop like that.
I wasn't even looking at Last Epoch until I saw an RPS article about the Falconer class and suddenly I'm very tempted to buy it.

I can't think of any weather the UK is known for that would damage those controllers.

Both of my dualsense controllers are broken in different ways and I never left them outside on a billboard
yeah the battery on my DualSense is getting worse by the week. Luckily I bought a 2nd with my console back in 2021 that I haven't opened yet, probably gonna need it in a couple months.

A friend of mine has for a while been recommending me a game called Star Traders: Frontiers. It was on sale so I finally picked it up. It's like the least beginner-friendly game I've ever tried to play. Stellaris levels of information and no tutorial whatsoever. I have no idea how to play it and I guess my only option is watching an hour-long youtube video. Can't say it's immediately grabbed me.
They put way too many gizmos in the PS5 controllers, that's why the battery life is shit and they break all the time. I just want to move my guy around on screen, I don't need a tiny little rumble every time I take a step

They're just kind of shit to begin with
Until I saw the prize part I assumed they just made the billboard out of returned controllers
The 4 colours in that video map onto the 4 skews of half life 1 : original, opposing forces, blue shift, and decay. My guess would be first a remake of opposing forces with the gunfire and crowbar turning green
It feels like for a long time he’s basically been corralled away from anything important and any actual decisions, whilst at the same time has been kept feeling important and crucial through flattery and pampering, in an attempt to keep him contained
I think your underestimating how easy it is for mediocre rich white men to worm their way into shit.
But they can also easily be convinced they’re contributing and crucial with a meaningless title and then sidelined for actual decisions. He doesn’t strike me as a guy who ever really did that much other than talk the talk

The other one has a spot down and left on the left joystick that is a dead one where it no longer registers as input
They should make a new game.

Didn't Randy step away from overseeing game development so he could oversee this movie?
Though there was that video of him doing a set tour and seeming like the most out of place weirdo.
if you believe randy pitchford when he says "i am overseeing this movie" that's on you
Is this what magicians like Randy call the Prestige?
