Oh my god this is the worst [chat] in the Universe
A friend of a friend asked me to be in an arch show this month and as usual I've procrastinated. Anyway I looked at the list of artists and I'm really wishing I hadn't procrastinated, there are some big names on there and I feel very Talking Heads about it.
There was some tabletop RPG that I was playing that had the take (that I really liked) that dragons had hoards because they were so long-lived, and the hoard actually represented bespoke memories of their lifetime events. It allows them to reminisce about events centuries in the past, and such. You are just as likely to find a well cared-for scroll with fingerpaint art done by a toddler of a dear friend as you are a masterpiece painting or sculpture worth millions. It's sort of a combination of the Boomer tendency to hoard objects and the Millennial/Zoomer thing of collecting experiences rolled into one.

Won an ebay auction for a Canon EOS 10, top of the range in 1990 (excluding the pro models), for £3.99
The battery it requires costs more than that
I once bought a mixer that didn't come with a power supply, and I found out that the power supply would cost more than an equivalent modern mixer with the same amount of drops.

how many cameras do you have now?
And where are you storing all this crap?!
Too many! But I've sold a few that I bought cheap as untested, put a roll of film through, and relisted as working.
And mostly in a couple of IKEA storage bins
This one seemed like a good idea because I didn't have an autofocus film SLR yet, and it takes the same lenses as my DSLR. I picked up a Pentax MZ-50 in a mixed lot but didn't get on with it.

You might be pleased to know, if you don't already, that the French translation of the Magic card "Murder" is just "Homicide."
the "no true scotch man" fallacy.

Yung Tooman is actually a rapper. You are thinking of Boss Baby Two.
