somehow got into the container (which is one of those where you push the button down and it seals) and i didn’t notice

luckily i only took a couple of bites but still, pretty yucky morning so far

    I had a beer brewed with a specific type of ant that gave it a lemony flavor. Was really good, but they strained out the actual ants.

    Had an English muffin with butter for breakfast on Saturday. Had to move the package after eating and as the last muffin shifted I noticed a nice 1 1/2" round green furry mold spot. I didn't see any on the one I ate, but it's still not what you want to see as you're finishing up breakfast.

    Might have preferred the ants.

    I ordered some food grade ants one time because I wanted to know what they tasted like.

    Turns out they taste a bit like lemon juice.

    Then made a batch of lemon cookies and put the ants in some of the dough. They got lost and added nothing to the cookie. oh well. Still was fun.

    I still wouldn’t want unexpect-ants in my food.

    Was getting together all the ingredients to make pita the other day, and I open up a new bag of flour and there are weevils crawling all over. Feels bad to throw away a brand new bag but ain’t no way I’m using that!

    Had to ask a neighbor to borrow a cup of flour since I already had all the other ingredients ready to go.

    We got ants in our coffee dispenser machine at work once. I was able to tell the co-worker I had a crush on just before she stopped it.
    She got a disgusted look on her face and I don't think the incident helped me impress her.
