Searching for old screensaver

I've been looking for a screensaver that was designed to take advantage of newfangled graphic cards of the time, late 90s early 2000s. It was basically a gravity simulator, particles would orbit around an attractor point (basically a black hole) and get sucked in. I believe there was also a source that would emit more particles. And occasionally the camera would get sucked in and travel through a hyperspace tunnel kind of thing. I think you could even control the number of particles while it was running.

The controls described make it sound like an After Dark screensaver perhaps

check out the ones Photon at timestamp 18:02 or Rose at timestamp 21:30

do either of those seem on the right track?

No, it was definitely a standalone thing, not part of a package. thanks though.

Does that seem like the right era of screensaver?

I think what I'm looking for is a little bit later, early mid 2000s

Given the mention of new graphics card I wonder if it is something like that that came as a graphics demo. That's a Voodoo3DFX demo

That' s close, the camera movement in particular is very similar. But it was polygonal in nature. Does give me some jumping off points for a better search though, thanks much

Probably not, but just in case it's a case of crossed wires and it is.

Could you describe the "hyperspace tunnel" a little more? Do the particles become the tunnel? Are the particle sizes closer to the past two videos? Or are they more like points of light?

The camera is what goes through the tunnel, it's a brief transition, just a couple seconds. I want to say the particles were flat triangles but not 100% sure. You could also control the amount of particles being emitted via the keyboard without interrupting the screensaver.
