I just saw Napoleon Dynamite for the second time. The first time was a pre-release premiere I acquired tickets for, the second time was right now on Comedy Central.

Both times, the movie was not the "extended cut with deleted scenes" as released on DVD; the movie ends on the tetherball court.

I have a question about ND and figured I'd ask it here (rather than on SE++) and rather than create a whole new thread just for my selfish self, [size=+1]I made this a generic thread for people to ask obscure questions about movies that they've always wanted the answers to[/size]. I know a lot of obscure movie trivia, and I'm sure the rest of you do too; we can pool resources.

So, here's my question to kick this thread off: Who is the woman on the bicycle that rides to Uncle Rico's van at the end of the movie? There's really no precedent for it, but I figure it's the mother of the girl that Napoleon asked out.

I believe it's his girlfriend. At some point in the movie (I think the diner) Rico mentions his girlfriend left him because he was stuck in his high school football years.

I was pretty sure it was just a surreal and chessey way of showing that everyone gets a happy ending, even Rico, some hot chick rides up on bike, no time to explain, just accept that he got a hot chick!
