    I never understood a particular quirk of timezones and scheduling events in the US.

    Things would be scheduled for 8pm Eastern/7pm Central. Okay. Makes sense. This is happening simultaneously in the two time zones.

    But then the same thing would still be scheduled for 8pm Mountain and 8pm Pacific. Which is the part I don't get. Why make Central got it simultaneously with Eastern rather than at the same local time? Why not an 8/8/8/8 scheme or an 8/7/8/7 scheme? 8/7/8/8 makes the least sense to me. Why was Central always the one that was a local hour earlier for non-live programming?

    The Central time zone was up to something. Bribes. Corruption. Skullduggery. I'm not sure. This should be investigated.

    Yeah so my wife’s grandma lived in Beaver Dam, AZ, and spent all her time in Mesquite, NV (13 miles) gambling to pay her medical bills when she went to the doctor and hospital in St. George, UT (30ish miles).

    She had three clocks on her wall because Mesquite is Pacific, St George Mountain, and AZ while technically Mountain doesn’t observe daylight savings because fuck you why would any of this make sense.
