Internet Explorer won't launch

For the longest time, like many, I been using firefox for my browsing needs, with little problems. Today though, I needed to go to a page that only worked on IE. Now I'm finding that IE won't launch, no matter what icon I click on. Anyone ever had similar problems?

    Odd. Try going to Start>Run "iexplore.exe"
