the thing i love about the video is that it has like no views. it makes it beautiful
the anonymous embedded video recommendations from that have some real sicko thumbnails
the one i always think about is stumbling across some video that was like "lets play modded morrowind part 167". the video had to have been more than an hour long, had two views, and the player was actually (well sparsely) giving commentary and talking through their actions. granted it also had a loud buzzing whenever they talked and you could hear what must have been other people in their home speaking sometimes. i checked out the channel and it was hundreds of videos more or less exactly like that. no descriptions on the profile or the videos. i found myself wondering about the person maintaining the channel. they were consistently putting out videos and were putting SOME amount of work into them, but didn't even do bare minimum stuff like having a profile picture. they directed their commentary to a viewership that they knew did not exist, for hundreds and hundreds of hours. i guess it was just a hobby, but even then it was like...idk. a liminal hobby where you sorta do something but not really, endlessly. anyways hope they are doing well
