As with all the games before Diamond and Pearl, you cannot possibly catch them all if you do not engage in trading. Thankfully, this edition allows you to trade online with people from all over the world! Pretty rad, eh? Here is a list of guys you can only find in a certain version:

Note: Later in the game you will be able to transfer pokemon from the GBA games. They will be set loose in Pal Park upon doing so, but you get Park Balls (which are pretty much Master Balls) to recatch them with, so it's not a big ordeal. NOTICE THAT YOU CAN'T TRANSFER POKEMON FROM THE OLD GAMES (Red, Blue, Yellow, Gold, Silver, and Crystal)

Post up your friend codes in this thread so you can battle and trade with SE++ dudes. Scrum will handle that on the second post here

ALSO! Scrum is holding the G&T vs SE++ tournament in like two months. REGISTRATION IS CLOSED. This is just a reminder to those of you who entered. Watch this space for more information about this tournament as I find it.

The Baby Battle Tournament


it goes like this

only baby pokemon and 1st stage of 3 stage pokemon allowed.

Trapinch and Wynaut are banned, of course. (possibly Rhyhorn and Porygon as well)

everything else is basically the same as a normal tournament

    Abra might need to be banned too. That Serebii list of top 100 pokemon in each category has it in the top 50 of Sp Attack, and the Speed stat is high too D:

    Incidentally, I am breeding for a Modest Abra that will be tm'd out and given away to a person entering the tournament who I feel will go far. Redeemer.

    Well, I don't really see the point. You can just force a pokemon to not evolve and EV them to the max. They will still be a fucking crazy force.

    The game came out a month before he appeared in the anime for the first time. The episode with the Pokemon Ranger came out a little bit after the Pokemon Ranger game was released too.

    It's like they are trying to advertise something...
