The Burger was a Wendy's burger. It has weird onions ( I asked for no onion but as I understand it they have a literal guide in making these) the sauce is really good! I hope they keep it as a regular thing tbh
The frosty was
I didn't care for the vanilla Frosty. Its an abomination. The pineapple syrup or whatever it was leaked to the bottom and didn't mix in despite my best efforts. It also didn't taste like pineapple
Fries were ok. Eat fries at the restaurant folks. They aren't meant to travel
Overall for a tenner it wasn't bad. Might get it again

I want to try Wendy's

Wendy's is the best of the big three, I think. Best burgers, the fries aren't quite as good as McDonald's. Their soda syrup to seltzer water ratio is my favorite.
Unfortunately the Wendy’s here is fucking terrible so I never eat there.
yeah, when we were moving in, I saw a Popeye's like, 5 minutes from my house and was psyched, but it turns out this Popeye's is like, a local celebrity, it sucks so bad.
Vanilla Frosty is just soft serve with no character so that's already a reason to hate it but yeah the syrup wasn't good at all. Its pineapple mango apparently
That said, the burger is just a Dave's single with special sauce, but there are worse burgers, I liked it well enough.
It's like, kind of insane how zero effort this collaboration is though. Like they didn't even bother to print up special foil paper to wrap the burger in.
I'm gonna try and swing by a Wendy's sometime soon and grab the frosty, and maybe even another Krabby Patty while I'm at it.

My favourite dumb collaboration in recent years was Rebel Moon and Smiths, nothing like chowing down on some *checks notes* Motherworld Feast Roast Beef Garlic and Herb chips. As gauche as it is there's a part of me that's glad this dumb marketing stunt is still a thing.

McDonalds corporate makes a huge chunk of their money selling the uncooked/unheated food to their franchisee's. I actually think it's the bedrock of their business model. They probably know the second a bun in the middle of nowhere is officially too stale and they call up the owner and don't say anything.
They just call because the owner knows they fucked up
