I'm playing Like A Dragon: Ishin, I think I've grinded enough money to pay off the farm, but even triggering the last payment letter takes some effort. Just so much busywork!

At least the fighting system keeps getting better the more skills you unlock.

    Aldo.

    I have tried a Cuberdon.

It tasted like, and had similar consistency to, a Brachs brand jelly bean.

Verdict: Would likely go back not for the Cuberdon, but for the chocolate.

I'm finally watching the Matlock pilot and I heard there's a pretty cool twist. I'm only 10 minutes in but think I know what it is. It's going to be one of these three things:
    1) Kathy Bates!Matlock is a stripper.
    2) Kathy Bates!Matlock is an undercover cop.
    3) Kathy Bates!Matlock is Cthulhu.

    Gummy bear or gummy worm?

I mean you have to be careful of the sugar content but whatever.

Wow, had to Google what that was again. I have no idea what those jelly beans are like, so sounds like either (1) I would like them or (2) you had some low grade cuberdons.

The early 00s LOTR films do fantasy culture better than anything else.

Just watched the funeral of the prince of Rohan and the halting, semi Norse nature of it all felt believable.

The world feels lived in, in these films.

GOTY contenders seem lacking this year if everything nominated is a remake of a previous hit game. Now, Flop of the Year, that's where the stiffest competition will be. Concord and Suicide Squad and Hyenas and Skull & Bones and the Borderlands movie.

    *chef's kiss*

You’d think but they’re very good remakes and still new games on their own

But yes this will be a good year for the worst

It’s been a while so I forgot that Gimli was the O’Brien of the LOTR films, made to suffer at all times.

There was an episode of Doctor Who were the people at CERN realized they were in a simulation and decided to blow themselves up. The tip off was that there were no random numbers.
It was dumb. People would have realized that way sooner.

I’ve always felt the opposite actually. I find the culture and everything of that nature fleshed out and believable for sure. But the world always struck me as empty of people. There were little indications barely anybody existed in it.

Minas Tirith a metropolis with a sharp edge outside of which there was nobody. Lots of things like that, nobody was ever around.
