Well this was uglier than it should have been but it's super weird spending fucking 20 years rooting for loser Lions team to just wash your hands of them.
And suddenly they might be the best team in the league.
Clearly as a sports fan I was the problem and should have given up on them a decade earlier.
It's kind of purdy to negotiate down his extension to save the team money
He's gonna get a little over the Lawrence contract and honestly I'm not sure what he could have done these final few games to really move himself off of that. Put up some Rodgers-esque 1.2 QBR maybe, have multiple Peterm-INT performances?
When Philly finally got over the hump and got their ring against the Pats in '17, Kelce was the face in all the cameras during the parades and celebration.
A LOT of swearing and showboating but it was well deserved for a guy who basically played his entire career in Philadelphia and never missed a game.
Jason Kelce i can't blame riding out the Taylor wake even the smallest little bit.
On his own he seems fine as a retired player but holy hell if it wasn't for his brother('s girlfriend) nobody would even know who he was.
Good for him I guess?
You might be underestimating how well New Heights is doing. They have almost 2.5 million subscribers on Youtube alone and were the top sports podcast for an absurd amount of time iirc
I give it a watch every now and then and honestly Jason is more entertaining than Travis. And frankly I'd argue Jason's wife is more entertaining than both of them
I'm visiting my parents for New Years so it was really nice to be able to watch a Lions game with my dad where they were good the whole time and it was a fun game to watch for once.
Yeah I'm trying to enjoy it while it lasts. I think we're pretty evenly matched offensively with the Vikings. But I'm really worried as their defense is still intact and if they get a couple stops, we're losing that game.
Lions Super Bowl in my lifetime what a weird wonderous thing to even say. I remember the Fontes era being a high point not to be reached again for 30+ god-damn painful years of watching legitimate GOATs come and go. I gave up on them around 2015-2016 but I did my time and get to hop on this bandwagon. I still have Lions clothes in my closet I hadn't yet given to Goodwill.
12 years ago I moved to Seattle. Being a Niners fan, this proved to be very painful. My friend's wife was a Seahawks fan, so I got her a Seahawks blanket, but took this photo. The employee and a shopper's kid helped me out.

the duality of the nfl
I remember him at Michigan not being eligible to travel to certain states because he would be questioned for things.
Sam Darnold Vikings
Nick Sirriani Eagles
Practice-squad defense Lions
I'd say practice squad defense Lions, because the offense has been hitting on all cylinders so you only need a stop or two to win.

Nick Sirianni no doubt .
Fucker is a living embodiment of an episode of, " Always Sunny", that became sentient.
Even his smugness and Big Dom being his stereotypical, Italian Bodyguard from Philly, feels like it was born from that show as well.

I'd prefer Lions / Chiefs.
I think they are a more beatable team this year.

The weird thing is..with Montgomery hurt the Lions could potentially add him as bench depth for their playoff run
