Job Interview Monday - real one, at that

So I sent out about fifteen resumes today to various high schools in the Central Florida area. To my surprise, I received a phone call about two hours after faxing these suckers (really, I wasn't expecting a phone call till Monday or Tuesday - maybe even later. I thought I'd at least have to call and follow up on some of these) - to keep a long story short, I have an interview on Monday at Olympia High School.

This is my first real interview - not my first real job (the last one was as a GTA...if anyone says being a GTA isn't a real job, I'll hurt you). That job was basically assigned to me as part of my graduate studies. I have a nice resume, a good cover letter - the problems were (a) my attire and (b) how I should prepare myself.

Quick details: the job is to teach English - I'm not sure of the specific details yet (it could be gifted <knocks on wood> but it might just be regular English classes). The school isn't the most elite school in the area (that'd be Lake Mary High School or Winter Park Senior High - I haven't been given an interview there yet), but not the worst school either (that title usually goes to schools farther west in the metro areas of Orlando). I'm qualified for the position and quite competent in my field, but there's always those other jerks that are just as qualified and just as competent, so I have to find a way to crush them.

I'm looking to make an impression - I purchased a suit today (nice suit, about $200ish) with a good shirt and tie. That'll cover about 90% of my attire - except my shoes. With a total cost of about $375 so far (I had to buy a new tie, new shirt, socks, and the suit needed to be tailored...damn my height), I decided to pass on the shoes and just go with the black leather ones I thought I owned. Turns out I donated those about a year ago and forgot about it. Now, I have a really nice pair of brown shoes (the ones I normally wear when I wanna look fancy-like), but the suit is all black. I really don't know if I can afford a new pair of shoes - is it really bad to wear brown shoes with a black suit? Will it be noticeable? Am I going to not get the job cause I wore brown shoes with a black suit? On that note, can I just buy a really cheap, shitty pair of black shoes at Walmart - like, $20 shitty? As Mr. Morgan Freeman's character said in Shawshank: "After all, how often do you notice a fella's shoes?"

The other question: any advice? I called a few teacher friends of mine, and they said things like "Have a weakness ready and make it a strength...be positive...show how constructive you are...etc." but any advice helps. Thanks in advance :)

Id say that even shitty $20 black shoes would be a good investment. Also, a black belt. Shoes/belt should always be the same color. They're also a good investment if you have to business casual or better very often.
