Man, the scene wher they walked into the barn with all the guns, and there was a good 15 seconds of guns, guns and more guns, and then a depth charge, was just awesome.
All the parts with the BFF cop dude were awesome, especially in the end when he shot the gun into the air and shouted, just because of the buildup I dunno.
I saw this in theaters. It was a bit hard to hear what the fuck they were saying sometimes. I have a feeling that I missed a lot of the smaller more subtle jokes. Overall it was quite enjoyable, though. Also any movie that references the amazing Point Break in any way (I have that bitch on VHS!) gets a thumbs up from me.
How is he going to disarm the old lady with a shotgun?
I simply don't know!
drop kick to the face?!?!?!?!
Fucking A!

Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are becoming like a substance for me, a heavy narcotic, i just can't get a enough and i'm constantly looking for my next hit... and i too am an idiot, i haven't bought the dvd yet (my excuse? not been to shops after work yet)
I saw Hot Fuzz twice in the theater, at Arc Light prices (for those in the L.A. area who realize the significance of that). So fucking good, it's ridiculous.
My favorite exchange was at the grocery store, towards the end. The bit about witty one-liners. You know the one. I'd spoiler tag the exact quotes, but I am too drunk to recall it exactly, and wouldn't want to butcher it.
I saw this with a couple of friends of mine. I was never big into the whole zombie thing so I never bothered seeing Shaun of the Dead. This movie though, I could easily recommend to a multitude of people. It's just funny and well put-together.

Because I'm pretty sure, if it was American, people would be like "Man, this movie fucking sucks dicks".
You are a fucking tool.
Not anymore though. I'm too hurt.
and while the british have a way making things work that americans can't pull off, it was funny on it's own merits

It's one of my favorite movies.
Think shaun of the dead, but replace zombies with action.
Well, see that logic is flawed, because America doesn't make comedies this awesome anymore.
Quoted for the fucking truth.
All in all, awesome movie.:^:
Sure...
Plus the drop-kick to the face ollolol!

I still refer to people clubbing as "laying down shapes in the temple of sound."
A horribly butchered quote from the clubbing episode that ends with Mike leading the entire club in a dance to the A-Team's theme tune, but still..
Wayans Brothers...
