The other day my Wii remote started vibrating and the lights on the bottom are all lit up. It doesn't respont at all. Am I pretty much just out of luck or has anyone else had this problem and fixed it?
We tried nothin' and we're all outta ideas.

Do you mean it started vibrating and kept vibrating, and are still vibrating?
That hasn't happened, to me, but every couple of weeks, my remotes just seem to go dead. I get nothing from them, except when I push a button, and it seems like they try to find the Wii, but to no avail. I just have to unplug it from the wall, plug it back in, and then it goes back to normal. It's a pain in the ass, but it's fixable. I'd try that.
I've taken out and put the batteries back in, it doesn't seem to help. As soon as I put the batteries back in it keeps vibrating until I take them out. None of the buttons are responding and there is no pointer on screen.

Keep the batteries out for a little bit, and try again.
If it doesn't work, then something on the inside is triggering the rumble... and you might have to exchange it.
OR you can do the really shady thing and:
Buy a new one at Best Buy (or some other retailer) and just return the "old" one in the new package... I worked at Best Buy and this happens more often than not.
