I am trying to create this game idea i have in my head before someone either creates a good version of it or a great many crappy versions. I want to learn how to mod with HL2 and need a good tutorial website. Also, do I need to get Episode 1 and 2 and lost coast to get better physics?

edit: Or a quality forum to go to?
