The HBO series premieres tonight at 10:30 EST

if you don't know who they are, they're like the New Zealand version of Tenacious D, except not as racy. They are also awesome, like the D

They were here in philadelphia on the 12th but tickets were sold out before I could get them :(

    I didn't enjoy the show too much, but I liked the music

    they have better songs, though

    hopefully it'll pick up in later episodes

    the show seems to be just an excuse to set up "music videos" which are very similar to tenacious d. The format works great.

    The song when Jermaine was singing about how hot the girl was and bret would turn away from his conversation for backup vocals was awesome.

    it's just the jokes that weren't during songs fell flat

    I thought the scene where they're debating on what caused her to leave was great.

    And when the guy interveined and shows off the faucet, it was hilarious.
