Nokia 6265i and unblocking my number

I have a Nokia 6265i under Telus Mobility (Canada) and for some reason when I call people my number shows up as blocked. Now, thats fine and well, but how do I unblock my number when I call people I know or I want to see my number?

    Hmm, well, that's a CDMA phone, so I don't believe it can be device-controlled. Call customer service for your provider and ask them if that option is turned on for your number.

    uh oh

    im pretty sure the option is a permanent one that is picked when you first set up the account.

    i know because Ive seen it a dozen times.

    "pemanently block outgoing caller ID"

    so you'll have to call client care (611 from your phone) and see if it really is permanent
