So I just got my freeloader and want to use it on wii to play some jp gamecube games. I'm just wondering though.. how and the fuck does this work. The freeloader itself came with directions for the cube games on cube systems, and very very brief directions which didn't explain dick for the use on the wii. So any wii users out there use a freeloader. How do you get it to load games, as the two system interfaces are entirely different. Thanks h/a.

The newest version of Freeloader works with Wii to play other region Gamecube games.

And to use it just put the Freeloader in. After choosing it from the Wii menu, it will load and ask to eject disk and load the Gamecube game.

Some European units didn't like to cooperate with certain freeloaders, but in general, no it's not impossible.

But yeah, just throw it in, play it like a gamecube game, and your Wii should function just like a gamecube then. Eject it, and throw in the import.

Sorry to jack the OP, but from what version does it work on the Wii? I bought mine a while back, v1.04 (maybe)?

I've got the newest version of the Freeloader and it works fine on my Wii, however, to get it to work, you have to put the freeloader in the Wii when you're at the disc screen. If you just have it in there when you boot up the Wii, when you try to load the disc it will just reset the Wii.

When you hit start on the disc screen it should boot right into the Freeloader.
