Some British independent film company picked this one up. I've gotta say, I'm actually kind of excited. I like the Max Payne franchise, and the trailer looks like it might actually do the games some justice. Of course, I could be very, very wrong.

    The only way videogame movies work is if the origional game designers/writers are involved. As seen in Mortal kombat.(not 2, MK2-armageddon sucked hard)

    I like the idea of a Max Payne movie, but that trailer really didn't inspire confidence for this adaptation...felt like one of the many horrible fan movies out there.

    There was always supposed to be a Max Payne movie. It was mentioned as "in production" in the game's manual.

    ...obviously, whatever was in production then is not what this is.
