Why are my icons like this?

This happened after I put my laptop in standby mode and they never went back to normal.

    Wow, that is odd...

    Try recreating one of them as a test, see if it draws itself properly.

    Other than a re installation of windows (too drastic; there must be a simpler solution) I can't suggest much else.

    Are all icons like that or just those three?

    Try arranging/cleaning up the desktop? Sometimes that works...just right-click on an empty section of the desktop, I think.

    change to large icons

    change what icon is for a particular item

    refresh desktop

    create new icon

    recreate existing one

    Grab TweakUI from here. Install it, then run it. Click the repair selection on the left, and select rebuild icons. Click Repair now. That should hopefully do it.

    Well nothing from those worked
    and Tweak UI isn't even installing I don't know why but I'm still trying to figure it out.
