CAUSE
A file critical to system initialization, such as Smss.exe, may be missing or corrupted.
RESOLUTION
If the Windows Operating System is installed on a FAT partition, copy the initialization file to the %SystemRoot%\System32 directory. If Windows NT 3.51 or 4.0 is installed on an NTFS partition, reinstall Windows NT to a separate directory. Log on as the same user with the same permissions and copy the initialization file to the %SystemRoot%\System32 directory. If Windows 2000 is installed on an NTFS partition use the Recovery Console to replace system files.
It seems like the easiest way to recover this problem is probably to do a repair install from your disc.
I would think that it's very obvious that something came loose after moving. As long as you're comfortable fiddling around inside a case, double-check all of the connections.

1. Something is loose. Open up the computer and reseat everything that isn't locked down. Check all of your expansion cards and cables.
2. The move damaged your hard drive. If this is the case then its time for a new one.
After 25 minutes people didn't have a clue as to what would cause a completely non-descript system error? How much did you expect?
