Quick VLC question

I've searched around on various forums and I haven't found anything, but is there a way to force VLC to exit after it's played it's playlist?

For that matter, where can I view it's playlist?

    View --> Playlist

    No idea about the exiting thing.

    I don't have a playlist option under view. I have Messages, Stream and Media Info, and VLM control, but no playlist.

    If you check out http://nightlies.videolan.org./ and use the latest "Nightly Build" there's a new "Play and Exit" feature, which may be what you're looking for.

    Keep in mind the nightlies aren't necessarily rock-solid stable are basically svn releases.

    EDIT: You have to download the trunk 0.9.0 verision for this, not the branch

    EDIT: Direct link for the lazy: http://nightlies.videolan.org./build/win32/trunk-20070621-0000/
