So I bought a LCD tv a few months back but I got the model with only one HDMI input. So I was wondering since there is PS3 and DVD players along with other devices that may come out and use HDMI is there any kind of like system selector with multiple HDMI inputs. I would think pelican would be in the market for such a device but it seems not. Also why HDMI? Its simple one cable for video and sound so dont go all ape about not being able to get media onto other formats on HDMI I dont care I like the conveince and the lack of the back of my tv looking like a breeding ball of snakes.
Like I also said in the other thread, they exist, but they're very expensive. Like, several hundred dollars. If you only have a couple connections you need to switch, you may want to consider just getting a mid-range A/V receiver that has 2 or 3 HDMI inputs, which is comparable in price and does more than just switch input signals.
Also, it sounds like you don't even have multiple HDMI sources yet, in which case I would say don't do anything until you actually have a problem with too many HDMI inputs. Solutions will drop in price.
