So, I'm trying to install Realtek's drivers on my Vista Home Premium machine, and the installation literally will not go past this point, the "Can't verify Publisher" thing just pops up over and over and over. My google-fu can reveal no one with the same problem. HELP H/A!

EDIT: Whoa, it just finished. I guess I'll leave this here if anyone ever has the same problem, but FYI you just have to accept that popup about 50 ish times. No joke.

Did you make sure to grab the latest drivers from the realtek website, or are you using some drivers provided from a cd?

For Vista drivers you really should be grabbing the latest from the web.

EDIT: Nevermind, I noticed the version number in the screenshot and checked the realtek website. It's the latest version.

Funnily when I installed the realtek drivers under vista before I got my x-fi it all went smoothly without a hitch.

This happened to me as well. It just kept spamming me with that publisher thing. I didn't see any noticeable progress on the installation after being asked 3-5 times for permission, so I assumed it was Windows being retarded and gave up.

When this happened on my laptop, I had to run the driver .exe in XP compatibility mode. So, there's another proven solution for the person who searches for this thread in the future.
