So I started my math class last week and all our homework is done online on a website called coursecompass.com
You need to use internet explorer and some activex program garbage and I meet all the requirements but whenever I run it IE crashes moments into it.
I get this delicousness:

Help?

Edit: This is honestly pissing me off. I've managed to do the first two questions and submitted them but it simple crashes eventually every time.

Have you upgraded to IE7? If not, try that.

If you have, try uninstalling it back to IE6.

I was thinking that. It says I need either 6 or 7 ( I have 6) and I really didn't want to bother with it, but it looks like I'm gonna have to.

I really hate this because now it runs just fine as long as I pull the error message to the side and let it sit. I'm actually almost done my homework now...

Edit: Nope didn't do a damn thing. Anyone else?

I failed a math course because I had trouble running the software and the website.

I would bring this problem up with the teacher of the course and ask her what you can do. and make sure you know the drop date for the class just incase. I dont know how your school works but mine has an office for their distances education programs online and TV courses and such. Contact them with your problem. They have likely dealed with this before, and if you can't complete you work they should be able to work something out with your teacher so you don't fail the course.

    Good luck.

Can you use a differant browser like opera or firefox?
This might be an easy way around, since it looks like some borked security feature that IE has.

No no, I don't even use IE, the program requires it.

I honestly think I'm just gonna drop the class. It's taking forever to do the damn work(through this shitty program I mean, wheres my PnP?).
It's only a summer class anyway - and I'm still before the drop date... ah well...

A quick web search turns up several pages about virtualdns.dll being adware. I'd run the usual apps (Hijack This, etc) to get rid of it. (Or just follow the manual removal instructions on that page)

"Damn you and your Daily Doubles, you brigand!"

I don't believe it - I'm on my THIRD PS3, and my FIRST XBOX360. What the heck?

Looks like you might have been right. I ran my regulars and logged in for a bit and it seemed fine.
Cool, for the future I guess. I think I've settled on not dealing with this math class till fall semester.
