i have a sore throat from the tube down my throat, a sore jaw from the teeth that were just ripped out, and an amazing headache

    I haven't had my wisdom teeth out

    So far they came in normally and aren't impacted

    So I think I can wait a little while longer

    I still have all my teeth.

    Dentist said I needed one removed on my lower jaw so that he could straighten out my molars.

    I asked if there was any medical reason to do this. He said no.

    I asked if there was any cosmetic reason to do this. He said no.


    So basically he just wanted my money for doing needless work. Asshat.

    I'm posting from my iPhone so I don't know if this URL still works, but boy did it fucking hurt when I had my wisdom teeth out, and I was both awake, and only got local anesthetic because my insurance sucked.

    I have wisdom teeth but they're not causing me any problems, my jaw is apparently adapting to their existence by creating a new dimension to house them

    My bottom teeth are pretty crooked and I'm fairly sure it's from my wisdom teeth pushing them. I should probably go to the dentist when I get my insurance stuff taken care of.

    I chewed on a lot of gauze when I had my wisdom teeth out

    there's nothing quite like gingerly removing blood- and spit-soaked gauze from the back of your mouth and hearing that wet separation from the gaping chasm where your teeth once were
