Favorite 80's movie.

I don't know how the rest of you feel about them, but i've always loved the movies made in the 80's. You know? Stuff like Summer Rental, One Crazy Summer, Dragnet, the first Ghostbusters, Back to the future, Weekend at Bernies, etc. Maybe it was just the simple cheesiness of so many of them, but they always stood out in my mind.

What about you guys? Were there any movies made during this oddly fashioned decade that stand out for you?

I'm torn between Ghostbusters, Goonies, Princess Bride, and Willow. Any of those four, I've never once grown tired of.

I guess if I had to pick, I'd say Ghostbusters.

    Princess Bride.

    Closely followed by Rocky IV.

Two of the only movies I simply can't turn off when I flip past them on TV.

The dude that plays Charles De Mar in Better Off Dead played the principle of Akeelah's school in Akeelah and the Bee.

We were like, "Wait, that guy's voice sounds familiar. Hold on, it's coming to me... got it! Do you have any idea what the street value of this mountain is?"

Yeah, Commando is pretty goddamn awesome. But I guess I think of it as a goddamn classic of action, rather than an 80's movie (much like Terminator, Aliens, and a few others)
