Anyone else watching these feeds? Pretty neat how so many bands are involved globally.

    It makes me sick to see so many musicians on stage with Al Gore. How quickly people forget that Tipper Gore lead the charge to censor music in the 80s. It because of her that the parental advisory sticker (i.e. "Tipper Sticker") appears on CD. Although, had she had things 100% her way it would have been a lot more censorship than just a sticker...

    Consider her the Jack Thompson of the 80s...

    I'm just watching for the music; I already do my part by not being a fuckwit about the environment.

    My light is on maybe 3 hours a day, and it's fluorescent, my computer is a laptop, and not a needlessly overpowered one so it sips power, and this event is probably the most my TV has been on in years. I also avoid non-recyclable packaging material.

    Supposedly 2 billion people are watching this. How many people who needed change are likely to make permanent changes based on it?
