URL bbcode in signatures not working

I tried to the link in my sig with the words "Comic Clearance" instead of a long url, but it wasn't working.

Tried:
*url=http://url.com]Text here[/url]
*url="http://url.com"]Text here[/url]

(replace *'s with ['s ) Etc. I found this post on the vbulletin web site:

So it looks like an easy fix. Sorry if this has been reported before.

    I'm not seeing a problem with it ( and that bugreport you linked was marked fixed several versions ago ).

    I added a link to my signature just to test it, and it seems just fine.

    Sigh, I'm just a dope. I used the URL button first, and it threw me for a loop. When I typed it in manually, it seemed to work.
