That makes me feel better, because Mully is rad.

Also, Daft Punk is good, but... I dunno. I'm only ever rarely in the mood for techno, and I don't know enough about it to be "into" it. Also, I guess this just became a music thread? We have one of those, but it's mostly to brag about what obscure band you're listening to. :|

daft punk is not techno. it's...well, electronic, but the best way to categorize it within that is "dance" but even that's not really accurate.

what I'm saying is that daft punk is amazing. listen to more of it. now.

God, I just cannot stand metal any more.

For like three years I was all woo yeah

    up go the horns

anaal nathrakh make music that is good

Now when I listen to that stuff I experience the headaches and profound regret I normally associate with waking up after a heavy night on spirits.

i don't think daft punk is easy to categorize

    metal can be good
i mean, who doesn't like sabbath
and everyone likes at least one metallica song
apparently SOAD and korn are also classified as metal..

people hating on metal probably don't know how wide the term spreads

    Hot Topic isn't fucking metal

also I want to see like four of those bands, maybe five. I've already seen GWAR though

Basically if you wanted me to go to that you would have to pay me more to see chimaira and lamb of god alone than concert tickets would cost

    So, guys... Nirvana.

Their unplugged album is one of the greatest things I have. Besides Mozart's Requiem and Elvis' 30 greatest hits, but I can't find Mozart. D:

Your metal bands confuse and scare me.

I always wonder why they're so angry all the time.

You don't have to scream all the time dude, you could just like, whistle. Have a nice accordian solo. If you smile a bit more and learn how to dance I bet you could meet a really nice girl.

No. Also, I'm a pretty terrible person, so... music would be about it for me really, other then bad poetry and twinkies.

As a matter of fact that sums me up pretty well. Crazy-varied musical taste, bad poetry, junk food. And a lust for wang.

    Also, Hatebreed is fucking sick.

Also, I listen to, and enjoy, some country music. Chris Ledeaux especially.

Edit: Lovely songs are for relaxation, while I'm reading a book or writing or just lieing in bed enjoying some quiet time. Fucking sick-ass songs are for the rest of the day and sometimes when I'm playing mario kart 64.

No, it's not like that at all. I hardly ever listen to Alabama 3, in fact, and I'm certainly not the type to display huge amounts of favouritism for one artist over another.

The thing about Alabama 3 is I genuinely can't think of anything anybody could say bad about that. It's effortlessly cool, beautifully produced, moody yet upbeat, wonderfully executed. Pretty much any other band I can think of a criticism: too dull, too whiny, too noisy, whatever. But I can't think of anything anybody could really hold against those guys.

Bluegrass? Hm... the only thing I own that I think would be even close is the O, Borhter Where Art Thou? soundtrack (which is very cool.)
