If I understand correctly, the next tournament is going to be using a Swiss bracket, which means it's crazy pairing based on points and goes for x number of rounds? Anyone know how many rounds it's going to be or is that undecided?

I've thought for awhile that there needs to be an Electric tiger Pokemon. What would make better stripes than little lightning bolts?

I actually have all three evolutionary forms carefully though out in my head. Ditto for the Ghost Grass Pokemon (ever wonder what happens to the weeds you pull from your garden) and Fire and Electric Bugs.

electric cat is already covered under luxray, but who knows since entei and arcanine are both fire dogs
ghost grass would be like a wilted something or other, a firefly, and a similar lightning bug
like illumize and volbeat but not shitty (maybe evolutions)

Even though I call them the legendary dogs, Entei is a lion, Suicune is a cheetah or panther, and Raikou is a tiger.

I only call them dogs as a group because that is what I called them to begin with before I realized that they are more like cats.

There have been a ton of electric rodents, so there could be another electric cat. What I see does look different from Luxray and the highest form could be Electric Psychic. It does have the glowing eye thing going on too though.

As for my Ghost Grass, MINE. I already see it very clearly in my head so don't you go remaking it! Ditto my bugs.

My bugs are funny. First a glow worm, and the description says people argue over whether the glow is caused by fire or electricity.

Then a cocoon with a dark butt, and it says the argument has been rendered moot because the light no longer shines.

Then the highest form, either an electric bug or a fire one. The electric one I see I drew way back when I was a red blue fan. It's bee like (I liked Beedrill) with it's wing veins looking like lightning bolts and a light bulb for a butt.

Anyway, the lighting one would say that it was proof positive the glow worms light was from electricity, while the fire would would of course have the exact same description but with fire.

The ideas may be lame, but they amuse me so I'm happy with them. Feels silly to share them though.

It could have a queen form like Vespiqieen, except it would be focused more towards sweeping rather than tanking.

The lightning description one sound alot like Louie the Light bug, "Gotta play it safe around power lines"

Man I had some terrible ideas for Pokemon back in the day.

One was a Marowak evo that had a boomerang with four ends. It looked almost identical to Marowak.

Another was a water bear that looked like a bulky Suicune.

Then there was a Gligar evo called Gligoyle. That one was pretty cool.

You could have both. We have enough Flying Normal types to prove that repeating type pairs is allowed. I agree that there should be a fire ant, but I cannot give up on my Fire one either.

I always imagined an angel like thing that was pure Flying. It was white with huge wings and little tail like things like the psychic trio but without the fuzzy parts at the end. It didn't have any feet either.

It was basically a Scyther with one big scythe and a hand that it threw little bombs with on the other arm. And instead of legs it had a big red and white wheel. I was so proud of that one.

When I first saw Swablu I thought for sure they had finally made a pure Flying type, because there is absolutely nothing normal about a bird with clouds for wings.

I would like to see a Grass Rock type, it would have interesting weaknesses/resistances. I tried coming up with something moss related, but what I kept seeing was a rocky horse-like thing with its upper body lined with leaves, vines coming from its neck, and viscous eyes. It only looks a tad Pokemony.
