I remember seeing a quote from one of the guys in charge of inventing the internet (not Al Gore, the other one), that if he'd known people were actually going to use this he would've made the address system a lot more clear.

I think the 'futa' part is what really makes it awesome, because I've grouped with people with 'mature rp' in their profiles and they vehemently denied that it had anything to do with cyber and just meant they didn't want to roleplay with joke characters.

But this chick. 'Mature RP, my character has a cock' :P

I am not sure why WoW doesn't let you use spaces, unless it is to discourage "Sgt Pepper" "Prof Plum" "Mr E" and other such names.

edit: in WoW people call it ERP.

The WoW naming system makes for interesting combinations with the title system. There used to be a Dwarf Hunter named Sergeant, so you can assume how anti-climatic his name was when he became Lieutenant Commander Sergeant.

Having a title for a name is against the naming rules, actually.

My roommates bank alt: CaptObvious.... (Shhh) Pre-BC he would occasionally /y random tips in IF - "You can use the auction house to sell things to other players!"

Then we'd yell back, "Thank you Captain Obvious!"

I would have totally leveled that char to 70...

I remember someone did that on Dark Iron whenever the PAA rolled there, I remember them talking about it, I can't seem to recall who it was who did it though, whoever it was they don't play on Dark Iron anymore. (At least no on Parts)

I'm guilty of having a stupid name. Way back in my EQ1 days my characters name was Moorening Woulde. I was shocked when people didn't catch it out right. I was even more shocked when a GM came and took away my last name while I was sitting next to a guy name Klit Likker. They didn't do anything about his name, but mine was offensive.

My EQ Magician gnome started off as Asgro, because Agro/Aggro was taken. People always made fun of him for being a gnome so his last name became Theangry. I had one GM give me crap over it but he didn't make me change it...I think I argued it was German for angry, or something dumb like that.

Two for the price of one!

Sniz comes from a South Park episode starring Hillary Clinton, and is in refrence to her snatch (which is the proper term for a vagina), but since the Southparkians and the CIA don't like to be crude or vulgar they simply call the snatch a sniz.

It is at times like this that I must bite my lip and remind myself that how other people choose to spend their copious free time is not my concern. I just can't see how that much frustration would be worth it.
