What's under that one?...

Kay, so I've recently developed a problem involving one armpit smelling perpetually of body odor. I can wash it six times as much as the other, and as soon as I get out of the shower, it smells again. Deodorant doesn't seem to help, but rather just kind of mingles with the odor to form a super-hybrid deliciously sweaty smell. I do have hair under both arms, and would be willing to shave both at least once to cure myself of this problem, but it seems a bit drastic before getting some information about it.

Anyone here have any ideas?

Thanks in advance, H/A.

Perpetual stink? Try mixin in it in tomato juice like with skunks.

Trimming the hair ain't a bad idea, hair can hold on to a lotta stink.

You don't have to go as far as shaving, just buzzing it short with a pair of clippers or scissors will do.

I had pretty much the exact same problem with my left armpit for about four years. While I never saw a doctor about it, I strongly suspect it was hyperhidrosis. You don't have to shave all the hair out of your armpits to solve this - many doctors will prescribe an antiperspirant containing aluminum chloride, which will help block your sweat glands and prevent excessive sweating. Two of my friends have had prescriptions for the stuff before and it really does work, maybe you should check it out.
