I was poking around the local bestbuy today, mulling the idea of picking up a PS3 (just mulling... I can't justify $550 CAD plus the cost of games, cables and tax). Playing the Gran Turismo 4 HD demo got me thinking: just what is on the PSN anyways?
I mean in terms of demos and downloadable games, I don't really care about trailers etc :P

Not enough. There's a decent amount of free demos and the downloadable games are excellent bang for your buck, Calling All Cars and Super Stardust HD, along with Gripshift. But the PS1 selection is sorely lacking. Hopefully that will change soon.
It'll improve a bit later this year--downloadable Warhawk, SOCOM, GT5 Prologue and a few others, but it's largely still in it's infancy. A part of me suspects they're going to overhaul the store when the Music/Movie/Home portion goes live.
tl,dr: Decent, more is coming.

This is interesting to me as well. I love the 360 content but it kinda ran out and I figure Sony has a lot more potential than MS in this regard. Also my 360 that I got back after mine ringed on me sounds like a leaf blower so I'm almost looking for an excuse to swap it. What I'm really interested in is a) movies/tv shows and b) arcade games.

a) (Nothing yet)
b) There's a few, named above. They're not expensive, and Super Stardust HD is particularly awesome.
