Help me name my Cat, please!

Found the little guy.. erm, girl, last sunday in a Rite-Aid parking lot, hiding behind a parked car. I had a bunch of names lined up until I found out that he is a she.

I've only come up with two decent names, Leela and Kerrigan, and although they're a homage to Futurama/Starcraft characters, I think they sound a little bit too girly.

Can anyone suggest a few good names, that arent more than 2-3 syllables long (I heard somewhere that it makes the name easier for the pet to remember).

Cheers

    Robin.

    Eventually get another Cat and name him Batman.

    Sundance and then again get another one and name him Butch Cassidy.

    Are you noticing how I'm telling you to get another one so she has a friend?

    Also this thread is useless without pics.

    Sophie is a very elegant name that I've always liked. It may be too feminine, but hey it's a girl anyway, it's not like you should name her "Butch" or something.

    Damnit, you people must know that these kinds of threads require pictures. It ought to be the law.

    I am not good with names.. but I agree about the friend for your cat thing. My friends with 2 cats always have happier, less angry seeming cats than with just 1 cat.

    My parents own another cat, he isn't too happy about sharing the house with a new one.

    I'll get pics up, don't worry. I'm posting this at work, and the web is down at my house, i'll have some up tommorow if anybody really cares :-D

    I like Kerrigan, but too many people are going to think i'm some weirdo that named his cat after the figure skater.

    Chinese names could be a little out there, unless it's those Siamese cats from Cinderella.

    Yeah, but that would be better on a big fat black/grey cat rather than a Siamese one.

    I used to call my cat "That little back cat" or "The little cat" for short or sometimes even "cat".

    I always wanted to name my cat "My Rabid Dog" though. That way, when people came over and could say "Watch out for My Rabid Dog. She is right behind you".

    Or could do "What Cat"... "What is your cat's name?" ... "What Cat?"...

    get it.

    Be careful around Puffy Cats, they're a ravenous lot and bad jokes make them multiply.

    If you were going to name it "My Rabid Dog" I would go with "My Crazy Naked Grandmother" for the same reasons.

    I don't think I can come up with a decent name without pics.

    I rescued a beautiful snowshoe siamese some years ago that I named "Sputnik" - it really fit her, somehow.

    I've always wanted to name a cat Butcher after reading this.

    Although after reading the first post I think Kerrigan would be an awesome name. Can you imagine yourself calling her? "Come here Kerrigan! Ah, who's a good Kerrigan? etc."

    I cad a friend who called his cat "The Doctor" - that was pretty cool. Though we did walk in on him once calling him "Mr Stripey-pants" He was a big guy - it was pretty funny.

    Others:
    Jasmine (call her "Jazzy")
    Muriel
    Agatha
    Sophie

    Minerva (aka "nervy")
    If she's one solid colour - you could go with "spots" - for the surreal vote.
    Black? --> Snowey
    White? --> Sootie
    etc.

    Also: Pics should be mandatory.
