Videocard = borked?

I need a second opinion here.. im pretty sure my card is fucked, but i dont know how to fix it.

My compters screen clicks on and off for about 10 minutes when i boot it up. Then the whole thing shuts down, restarts, clicks again for 5 minutes and then its cool (Cool being random clicks every half hour or so) :x

Its not my monitor i know. When i turn my Hardware Acceleration off, the clicking stops completly, but the screen is then prone to freezing. Goddamn!

So... what can i do to fix it? Ill probably have to get it looked at, but id like to know what to tell the guy so im not wasting money on shit that doesnt need fixing

Well, specs would be a good start, as always. Can you somehow update the drivers on the video card before the picture goes out? That too might be a good first step. If not, then I would look into trying out the card in another computer, if that is possible... If not, we can look into new graphics cards for you.

Pretty much the only thing you can do is make sure your components are seated properly, clean the heatsinks if they're clogged with dust, and restart your computer.

Im not at home, and im afraid i dont know my specs by heart... I dont profess to have a well endowed E-penis, though im actually quite sure it qualifies as an e-vagina

Ive updated all drivers with no luck. Ill try my hand at reseating it, and also dusting. There might even be cobwebs
